Della Marie Pierpoint

Della Marie Pierpoint, age 80, of Splendora, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born in Helmic, Texas on September 21, 1932 to parents Earnest and Dubie Scogins who preceded her in death along with her husband’s Earnest Pierpoint and Walter Kirchner Jr.; and her son Dan Franklin Kirchner Sr. Survivors include her children Wayne Kirchner and wife Regina, Gloria Jones and husband Larry, Glenda Hargaves and husband Glen, Paula Hoberg and husband Jerry, Darlene Pierpoint Travis; sisters Reba Barrett, Bootsie Harris and husband Orville, Jo Williams and husband Earl; thirty-four grandchildren, seventy-four great-grandchildren, twenty-one great-great-grandchildren and numerous other siblings. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., March 19, 2013 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Apple Springs, Texas.
