Delbert Charles Stephens

Delbert Charles Stephens, age 88 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. He was born March 11, 1928 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Ted and Bessie Stephens who preceded him in death along with his great grandson, Christopher Crump; and siblings, James Stephens and Velmarie Cude.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Laverne Carter Stephens; daughters, Linda Rekart and husband Ron of Rockdale, TX, Peggy Crump and Jerry Lindsay of Bradley, AR, Sherry Trammell and husband Steve of Cleveland, TX; sons, Ted Stephens and wife Toni of Cleveland, TX, Mike Stephens and wife Mickie of Splendora, TX, Dennis Stephens and wife Michelle of Splendora, TX; sisters, Wanda Knight of Cleveland, TX, Margaret Rehm and husband Sonny of Mammoth Springs, AR, Mary Furguson and husband Jack of Splendora, TX; brother, T.J. Stephens and wife Betty of Fred, TX; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
