DeeAnn Gibson, 51, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 15, 2016, at her home in Florida.
DeeAnn was born on March 3, 1965 to Billy Ray Gibson and Carolyn Dee (Chavis) Gibson in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. DeeAnn was raised in Pasadena, Texas by her mother and step-father, John Clayton McCaskill, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She received her education from Sam Rayburn High School where she graduated in 1984. She earned her Cosmetology License at Pasadena High School. While in high school DeeAnn and several classmates shared in growing up together and a friendship that created memories that would never be forgotten. After graduation, DeeAnn lived for several years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas were she touched many lives and made friendships that would last a lifetime. DeeAnn spent the next twenty years in the Coral Springs and Davie, Florida area where again she touched many lives and made many lasting friendships. She had a way of creating Family among her friends. DeeAnn was a free spirit who loved life and loved deeply. She never met a stranger.
DeeAnn was preceded in death by her father Billy Ray Gibson and her dad John Clayton McCaskill; her grandparents Arthur D. Chavis, Geraldine Iris Wilson, George Lee Gibson and Lillie Mae Gibson. DeeAnn is survived by her mother Carolyn Dee Chavis of Dayton, TX; brother, Ray Allen Gibson (Dyan) of Mokena, IL; brother, Gregory Scott Gibson (Lauren) of Magnolia, TX; sister, Jerri Melinda Gibson of Liberty, TX; brother, Sean Clayton McCaskill (Wendy) of Dayton, TX; nieces and nephews, Tara McCray (Christian), Ashton Hibbits (Billie), Aubrey Gibson, Calli Gibson, Shaune Munro, Mattie McCaskill, Masey McCaskill, Patrick Cianchetti, Nicholas Cianchetti, Stephanie Cianchetti, Morgan O'Brien, Michael
Henschel and Joseph Henschel; great nieces and nephews, Jayden, Braylen, Camryn, Bryson, Madilynn and Carson.
DeeAnn will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She was a wonderful, loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend that touched so many hearts and lives. She filled our lives with lasting laughs and memories that will be cherished and shared forever. Thank you DeeAnn for the laughter and love. Your spirit will live eternally in our hearts.
Graveside Service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery on FM 1008 in Dayton, Texas at 2pm on Friday, August 12, 2016. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
