Deborah Kay “Debbie” McDonald, age 62 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019. She was born April 1, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Margie Owens Yarbrough and Curtis Yarbrough. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margie Yarbrough; and brother, Curtis Yarbrough, Jr.
Debbie was a spontaneous, loving person who put her family first, and loved spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed sporting events, especially those where her children or grandchildren were participating. Debbie was truly a joy to know and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband, Russell “Scooter” McDonald; father, Curtis Yarbrough; son, Sean Michael McDonald and wife LaDonna; daughters, Misty Rachelle Whitton and husband Jay, Kimberly Felan, and Jimi White; brother, Allen Yarbrough and wife Marie; sisters, Cheryl Wilson and husband William, Janice Chamblee and husband Vernon, Brenda Terrell and husband Wayne, Darla Wilson, Kim Kennedy, and Pam Lowe and husband Terry; grandchildren, Hunter Whitton, Heith Whitton, Rylei McDonald, Shane McDonald, Trent McDonald, Cooper McDonald, Jacob White, Katy Felan, Samantha Geaslan, and John Geaslan; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas officiated by Gary Shiflet. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
