Deborah Lou Duncan

Deborah Lou Duncan was born August 31, 1964 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She went to her heavenly home on July 19, 2023 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 58. Deborah had a four year battle with cancer and battled courageously through it all. She was currently living in Cleveland, Texas and was a former resident of Plano, Texas where she worked at Dillards.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Duncan; grandmother, Louella Spurgeon; uncles, James Spurgeon, Robert Spurgeon and John Spurgeon. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Sharon Dettling of Cleveland, Texas; sons, Darrell Duncan of Shepherd, Texas and Brian Duncan of Plano, Texas; stepson, Justin Hawkins of Plano, Texas; stepbrother, Randall Dettling of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, Winnie, Jordan, Bena and Damian; companion and special friend, Jarrod Hawkins; adopted mothers, Sonja Vaughn of Mineola, Texas and Ruth Hawkins of Plano, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2pm-5pm. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Ryan Cemetery at 10am with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be, Darrell Duncan, Brian Duncan, Billy Duncan, and Jarrod Hawkins.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Accent Hospice as well as Amanda and Nurse Dee Dee for their exceptional care during Debbie's final days.
