Deborah Burt

Deborah Gaye Gibson Burt, 59, of Conroe, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016, at the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, at the Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton with burial following thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Deborah was born December 29, 1956 in Houston, to parents; Lawrence Gibson and Ocey Martin, and was a former resident of the Cleveland-Dayton area. She was a homemaker and attended the River of Life in Cleveland. She also enjoyed reading, trivia games, watching her programs, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her mother: Ocey Martin Scott, sons: Billy and Brandon Burt, sister: Connie McCants, brother-in-law: Johnny Massey, and nephew: Holton Kennedy. She is survived by her daughter: Wendy Fritts and husband Jerry of Conroe, father: Lawrence Gibson and wife Verna of Pasadena, brother: Larry Gibson and wife Pam of Woodville, sisters: Patricia Massey of Huffman, Peggy Gibson of Beaumont, grandchildren: Jacoby Gibson, Thomas Fritts, Alyssa Fritts, Timothy Burt, and Bradley Burt, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
