Debbie A. Housley Glenn, 53, of Smith Point, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015, at her residence. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015, at Pace-Stancil in Dayton. Funeral reception for family and friends will be held thereafter at Day Spring Church in Liberty, TX. Debbie was born August 29, 1962 in Columbia, Mississippi to parents; Charles L. and Ramona Oglesbee Housley. Debbie was a former resident of Dayton, and has resided in Smith Point for the past two years. She was a graduate of Channelview High School, class of 1980, and attended San Jacinto Community College. Mrs. Glenn was a tax assessor-collector for Aldine ISD, regional director of the Texas Association of Assessing Officers, past president of the Gulf Coast chapter of TAAO, a Texas certified tax assessor-collector, and attended Day Spring Church. She enjoyed fishing with her family, shopping, holding hands with her husband, Johnny, and looking for sea glass on the beach. Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 35 years: Johnny Glenn of Smith Point, son: Brandon Glenn of Dickinson, daughter: Kelli Glenn of Smith Point, brother: Phillip Housley and wife Rhonda of Purvis, Mississippi, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
