David Mark Shilling

David Mark Shilling was born on September 22, 1955 in Houston, Texas. He was the youngest of four siblings. He graduated from MB Smiley High School in 1974. David enjoyed 60’s & 70’s rock & roll (especially the base guitar) and watching movies. David enjoyed riding his bike around Houston in his early years, and later around Plum Grove and Cleveland. He enjoyed family and never knew a stranger, always asking others how they are doing. David also loved First Baptist Church Plum Grove and often declared this is where he was saved and baptized in 1975. David will be laid to rest next to his mother and father at Plum Grove Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas

He is preceded in death by his: father William Kenneth Shilling, mother Liela “Marie” Holmberg Shilling, brother William Kenneth “Kenny” Shilling II, sister Barbara Kelley, and nephew-in-law William “Bill” Jeffrey. He is survived by his older sister Carolyn (Harvey) Reaves, niece Susanne Jeffrey, niece Dana (Jack) Reaves-O’Neal, nephew Jerry (Sheree) Kelley, nephew Paul (Shannon) Kelley, sister-in-law Janice Shilling, nephew Trey (Jody) Shilling, nephew Jason (Melissa) Shilling, nephew Jimmie (Kristine) Shilling, nephew Micah (Kimberly) Shilling, nephew Caleb (Laurel) Shilling, and many great nieces and nephews.
