David Randall Inman

David Randall Inman was born on June 1, 1966 to Jerrel D. Inman and Katherine Marie Kral Inman in Houston, Texas. David graduated from Aldine High School in 1984 and completed sixty hours at Lone Star College.

David accepted Christ as his savior at a young age. He was a member of Forest Cove Baptist Church and Second Baptist North Campus for many years.

David was proud to serve as a deputy for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office since 1988. He also worked providing security for Second Baptist Church North Campus for over ten years. In his leisure he enjoyed the outdoors, duck hunting and fishing. His main enjoyment, however, was spending time with his family. He loved holidays, especially Christmas.

Anyone who knew David experienced his kind and forgiving spirit. Throughout his long illness, he never complained. Instead he showed concern for others. He always remained optimistic, and his bravery was an example to everyone.

David was truly blessed. He was born on June 1, 1966 and departed this life on May 31, 2017, just minutes before his 51st birthday. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Wayne Inman and two infant daughters, Sierra Elaine Inman and Emily Louise Inman. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Jerrel “Buddy” and Kathy Inman; three daughters, Katie Inman Newby, Heather Inman and Chloe Inman; a granddaughter, Emily Inman; one sister, Mary O’fiel; two brothers, Steve Inman and Jerry Inman; seven nieces and one nephew; many cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Second Baptist Church, Kingwood, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Research Center in memory of David Inman at gifts.mdanderson.org.
