David Michael Watkins

David Michael Watkins, age 65 of Conroe, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. He was born June 1, 1954 in Houston, Texas to parents Elbia Ralph and Rosella Estell Jackson Watkins who preceded him in death along with his wife, Alice Watkins; grandson, Jonathan Willis; brothers, Richard Watkins, Paul Watkins, Pete Watkins, and Timmy Watkins; and sister, April Watkins.

David enjoyed drag racing, working on cars, and playing solitaire. However, spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite pastime. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his daughters, Angela Hamilton and Brandy Watkins; sons David Watkins, Jr. and wife Amy, Wade Watkins and wife Amanda, and Aaron Watkins; sisters, Della Fergeson, Sandi Jones and Elgin Burrows; brothers, Jimbo Watkins and Johnny Watkins; grandchildren, Taylor, Mark, Elijah, Majael, Jaziah, Evan, Ryan, Ethan and Emily; great-grandchildren, Brayden, King, and Ashton; along with many more loved ones.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas officiated by Bro. Justin Tubbs. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.
