David Everett McAdams, age 74 and a resident of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was born November 20, 1939, in Shepherd, Texas to parents Lonnie McAdams and Lucille Jones McAdams.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Genita McAdams; sons, David Layne McAdams and wife Kaye, Everitt Wayne McAdams and wife Carol, and Philip McAdams and wife Catherine; daughters, Lyneta Kennedy and husband Steve, and Sandra Flowers and husband to be Michael Kimes; brothers, Daniel McAdams and wife Ina, Donald McAdams, and Darrell McAdams and wife Bertha; sister, Ruby Locke and husband Bill; grandchildren, Wayne McAdams, Kristy Arney and husband Michael, Matthew McAdams, Jennifer Lanmon and husband Justin, Aaron McAdams and wife Morgan, Joshua McAdams and wife Megan, Christina Fiedler and husband Ike, Jessica Colon and husband Randy, Dustin McAdams, Brandon McAdams, Benjamin Kennedy, Zachary Kennedy; great-granchildren, Autumn, Summer, Elyssa, Kitten, Myka, Wyatt, Shyane, Audrey, Jasmyn, Ryleigh, Tyler, Skylar, Collin, and Brinley; Numerous Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, Relatives and Friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 10:00a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Farley Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Darrell McAdams officiating.
