David John Selph

David John Selph, 85, of Dayton passed away June 19, 2019 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born June 5, 1934 in Poplarville, Mississippi to parents Charles Pierce Selph and Katie Gann Selph.

Visitation for Mr. Selph will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

David was a longtime resident of the Dayton area. He had worked as a mechanic. He like fishing, enjoyed traveling and watching movies. He most of all loved his family and being with them.

Mr. Selph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carole Selph; stepson, Ricky Rumfolo, daughter, Toni Cooper, and son-in-law Donnie Yandle. He is survived by daughters, Susan Garduno and husband Isael and Sandra Yandle; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
