David Clemmon Ling, age 68 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016. He was born September 6, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to parents Louie P. Ling, Jr. and Peggy Joe Ferguson. He is preceded in death by his father, Louie P. Ling, Jr.; and grandparents, Louie P. Ling, Sr., Iva Mae Webber, John C. Wilson and Minnie Bell Floyd.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda S. Ling; mother, Peggy Joe Ferguson; daughter, Wendy S. Ling; sons, Jonathan D. Ling and wife Natasha L. Ling, and Jeremy M. Ling and wife Brandie M. Ling; grandchildren, Zachary J. Ballard, Ethan T. Ling, Samantha R. Ling, Jacob N. Ling, Garrett D. Ling and Gavin K. Ling; brothers, Robert P. Ling and Timothy H. Ling; sisters, Kathy M. Caldwell and Cyndi J. Whitehorn; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2016 at Oak Shade Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
