David S. Clark, passed away at his home in Willis, Texas on Friday, January 21, 2011 after struggling with health problems. David was born in Houston, Texas on September 10, 1940. He attended school in Houston and graduated high school in 1958. He then married Molly Dollahite. David David worked full time but also attended the University of Houston at night, receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for several companies as an engineer before deciding in 1976 to move his wife, Molly and only child Sheri to Cleveland, Texas. He then started Clark Machine Co. and after a short period of time, purchased Cleveland Machine Co., manufacturing oil field parts. He was still active and working until his death. David is preceded in death by his father, Sam Clark; mother, Marie Louise Flowers Clark; grandfather, Bowie Flowers; and grandmother, Jewel Lock Flowers. He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Molly Clark; only child, Sheri Littrell; only grandchild, Jennifer Littrell; two sisters, Diane Clark and Kandy Littrell; one niece, Kasey Littrell. Visitation will be held prior to services Monday, starting at 12:00 Noon, January 24, 2011. After visitation, everyone will dismiss and meet at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens at 2:00 p.m. for graveside services with Rev. J.D. Andrews officiating.
