Curtis Lee Burton

Curtis Lee Burton, age 39 of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was born September 17, 1981, in Conroe, Texas to parents Loretta Webb and Allen Johnson who preceded him in death along with his grandmother, Shirley Duke; grandfather, Charles Burton; great-grandfather, Julius (Honey) Duke, and great-grandmother, Lona Duke.

Survivors include his sister, Deborah Raye Smith and husband Michael Ray Smith; brother, Charles Wayne Johnson and wife Chelsey Johnson; aunts, Rhonda Burke, Becky Moore, Delores Hayden, and Nickie Moat; uncle, Gary Burton and wife April; nieces, Marlene Thain, Chloe Johnson, and Esai Smith; nephews, Andrew Thain, Robert Thain, Michael Smith, Jr., and Charles Wayne Johnson, II.; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Mizzell Cemetery, Splendora, Texas
