Curtis A. “Curt†Fletcher, 62, of Hull, died Friday, February 21, 2014, at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the North Main Baptist Church in Liberty, with services concluding thereafter. Visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the church. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Curt was born July 31, 1951, in Chamberlain, South Dakota, to parents; Laurel E. and Darlene M. Novotny Fletcher, and has resided in both the Hull area and Minnesota. He was a graduate of the Bennington High School Class of 1969, attended Wayne State College, and operated Elkhorn Valley Honey. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his motorcycles, fishing, the beach, and helping others. Mr. Fletcher was preceded in death by his mother: Darlene M. Novotny Fletcher. He is survived by his wife, Cathy E. Sparks Fletcher of Hull; daughters: Cheryl Lam and husband Johnny of New Jersey, and Wendy Fletcher of Nebraska; son: Tanner Fletcher of Hull; father: Laurel E. Fletcher of Nebraska; brothers: Ron Fletcher and wife Betty of Baytown and Bill Fletcher and wife Sharon of Arkansas; sister: Vicki Hahn and husband Sig of Nebraska; grandson: Joshua Santo of New Jersey, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorial remembrances, at the family's request, may be made to a library of your choice.
