Sister Tiny Tousha, also known as Curley Lee Maxey Fregia, 66, of Liberty passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Liberty after an extended illness. She was born May 19, 1946 in Liberty, Texas to parents, Newt and Furley Nugent Maxey. Tiny was a lifelong resident of Liberty County and was a loyal member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, and singing Christian music. Service for Tiny will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church with Sister Hendricks officiating. Interment will follow at the Monroe Fregia Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Tiny was preceded in death by her parents, Newt and Farley Maxey, her son Johnny Tousha, the father of her children, Tommy G. Tousha, brothers Ed and Clarence Taylor, and her sisters Lilly Welch and Mae McNeil. She leaves behind to cherish her memories are her son: Tiger Tousha and wife Renee; her daughter: Becky Tousha and husband David Edwards; her grandsons: Bam Bam Tousha, Tommy “June Bug†Tousha, Jr., Rusty Tousha, Dusty Tousha, and Nick Tousha; her granddaughter: Hope Tousha; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
