Corwin D. Maddy

Corwin D. Maddy, 79, of Houston passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. He was born May 23, 1935 in Raymondville, Texas to parents Sylvester "Harvey" Maddy and Ruby Magdeline Reed Maddy. He was a graduate of Raymondville High School in 1953 and had been in sales for Eastman-Kodak before retiring. Mr. Maddy previously lived in Dayton. He enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Corwin was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Rita Faye Collins Maddy.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years: Maria Maddy of Houston; son: Scott Maddy of Dayton; Robyn Bell and husband Daryl of Liberty and Holly Maddy of Wellsville, OH; grandchildren: Matt Maddy and wife Shelly, Brian Maddy, John Maddy and wife Donna, Mark Maddy, Hannah Bell, and Presley Bell; seven great-grandchildren; brother: Ray Maddy and wife Barbara of Desoto; also numerous other family members and friends.

Graveside service will be at a later date.
