Clydean Norris

Clydean Norris, age 76, of Lucas, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 07, 2012 at her home. She was born June 06, 1936 in Pelly, Texas to parents James Clyde Martin and Ruth Rollins Martin who preceded her in death. She was a long time member of Grace Bible Church in College Station, Texas; a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and Lee College in Baytown, Texas. She retired after 20+ years with Texas Agricultural Extension Service. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be remembered lovingly by her devoted husband of 53 years Kenneth B. Norris; daughter Dana Lynn Sleeper and husband Trey; sons Gregory B. Norris and wife Mary Beth; Leslie Scott Norris and wife Jen; sisters Florence Abercia, Loyce Phillips and husband Richard, Marilyn Jehle; brother J.C. Martin; grandchildren Sydney, Jordan and Jacob Sleeper; nephews Blake Jehle and Michael Phillips; nieces Kelly Campanella and Kimberly Payne; and family and friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 10, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Brian Fisher will preside over funeral services being held Monday, June 11, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Wells Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully received in her memory at the American Cancer Society, or a local cancer organization of your choosing.
