Clifton Penney

Clifton Penney, age 83, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Herman Memorial Northeast, Humble, Texas.  He was born March 4, 1928 in Cleveland, Texas to Sam and Mina Penney who preceded him in death along with his two brothers, Claude Penney and M.H. Penney; son-in-law, Mike Watson; and his great-grandson, Jacob Watson. Survivors include his devoted wife, Minnie Penney; daughter, Brenda Holmes and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, James “Boug” Watson and wife, Stephanie, Vicki Dupuis and husband, Philip, and Cody Holmes; great-grandchildren, Haley Watson, Marlee Watson, Jenna Watson, Grace Watson, Mason Dupuis, Logan Dupuis; great-aunt, Minnie Wells; great-nephew, Gordon Wells; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2011, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.  Rev. Gary Ladner will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, July 30, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Kenneth Riggs, James Rutherford, Joe Bazar, Wayne Wells, Jim Collins, Wayne Bittick, and Bill Young; honorary pallbearers include C.B. Faulkner, David Kovach and Floyd Baker.
