Clifford James Breeze, 76, of Dayton passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020. He was born February 1, 1944 in Galveston to parents Clifford M. Jackson and Mary Ella Bell Jackson.
Clifford grew up in San Francisco and had lived in the Baytown and Highlands area before moving to Dayton in 1999. He served in the United States Army. He worked for Solvay Polymer for over 30 years. Clifford was a Christian man and he was a historian especially on the WWII years. He enjoyed oil painting, pencil drawing, gun collecting and coin collecting.
Mr. Breeze was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Jo Ann Handy, his best friend and brother, Andrew Charles Jones, Jr who is fondly remembered as Clifford’s soul brother.
He is survived by his daughters, Zenobia Ann Breeze, Camille Chermico Breeze, Desiree Deanna Breeze, Charmian K. Breeze; his half-sisters, Bobbie Breeze and Phyllis Swain; his half-brothers, Edward Breeze, Jr., Philip Swain, and David Swain; grandchildren, Raymond D. Ranzy, Johleel D. Waddy, and Marcellus C. Breeze and four granddaughters; great-grandchild, Kavion James Ranzy; mother of Desiree and Charmian, Pamela Collins; numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will hold a private service at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
