Clay Albert Schreckenbach, 27, of Crosby, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Crosby.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, august 11, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
Clay was born November 17, 1988 in Humble, to parents; Albert J. Schreckenbach and Brenda A. Smesny Schreckenbach, a former resident of Dayton, and has resided in Crosby for the past two years. He was a pipefitter for Air Products of Pasadena by trade. He also enjoyed motorcycles, lifting weights, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Schreckenbach was preceded in death by his grandparents: Louis J. Smesny, Harriet Pharmer, and Albert W. Schreckenbach. He is survived by his mother: Brenda Smesny Schreckenbach of Dayton, father: Albert Schreckenbach of Tarkington Prairie, sister: Jolynn Smith and husband Scott of Iola, brothers: Erik Schreckenbach and wife Kelsey Reed of Dayton, Shane Schreckenbach of Dayton, and Quinn Schreckenbach of Dayton; loved one and significant other of five years, Courtney Lindstrom; grandmother: Maline Smesny of Dayton, aunt: Becky Smesny Wagner and husband James of Dayton, uncles: Gary Smesny of Brazoria and Ron Smesny of Brenham, nephew: Tucker Schreckenbach, cousins: Blake Rhodes and Caitlin Lindsay, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
