Claude William Scott

Claude William Scott was born April 2, 1939 in Houston, Texas to parents, Claude E. Scott and May Scott. He passed away August 15, 2024 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 85. Claude worked for many years doing construction work for the Houston Pipeline. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing, and could often times be found in his shop woodworking. His grandchildren have fond memories of Claude teaching them all how to drive a stick shift. Claude will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude E. and May Scott; wife and mother of his children, Ella Faye Scott; son, Donald Ray Scott; grandchildren, Christopher “Cody” Scott, Matthew Montemayor, and Gennie Montemayor; brother, Dudley Scott; sister, Joyce Pennington. Claude is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Nell Scott; sons, David Scott and Danny Scott and wife Buffie; grandchildren, Christopher Harrison, Brandon Scott, Bradley Scott, Nicole Haltom, Shelby Scott, and Dalton Scott; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Holloway and Earlene Parson; stepdaughters, Cheryl Coleman and Aimee McGlaun; son in laws, David Ginn and Monty McGlaun.
