Clara Elizabeth Gordon

Clara Elizabeth (Junek) Gordon, age 93, of Burnet, Texas passed away on October 13, 2021. She died peacefully in her home.

Clara was born in Burleson, Texas on January 12, 1928. She graduated from Blessing High School in Blessing, Texas and attended Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos.

Clara was married to Jack R. Gordon on February 10, 1946; they were married 46 years.

Clara enjoyed gardening, sewing, and painting. She was a talented cook who loved providing wonderful meals and goodies to family and friends. In her later years she took great joy in seeing her great grandchildren. Clara was also a lifelong student of the Bible.

Clara is survived by daughters Teresa Gordon, Melissa (Gordon) Lucas, Rebecca (Gordon) May, grandchildren Lindsay May, Justin May, Andrew Lucas, and Elizabeth Lucas, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Clara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack and her 7 siblings, Edwin, Lydia, L.J., Verna, Joe, Mary Jane, and Emma.
