Cindy Kay Welch

Cindy Welch 61, of Baytown passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Galveston. She was born January 23, 1957 in Odessa, Texas to parents, Garland Wood and Joyce Bretz Wood.
Memorial Service for Cindy will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton.

Cindy had lived in the Houston area for the past 30 years. She was previously of Nederland where she was a graduate of Nederland High School. She had been an employee of Janice’s Learning Center for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Bretz Wood, brothers Ricky Welch and Jack Wood. She is survived by her father, Garland Wood; children, Chasity Desselle and husband Shane, K.P. Leininger, and Ericka Blackburn; sister, Diana Montgomery; grandchildren, Zhane Leininger, Corey Leininger, Dylan Blackburn, Zoie Saadon, Mackenzie Blackburn and Alexys Leininger; great-grandaughter, Joyce Ann Leininger; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
