Cynthia K. “Cindy” Phillips, 55, of Coldspring, died Sunday, May 7, 2011, at the Livingston Hospital in Livingston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Coldspring with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring. Cindy was born December 8, 1955 in Liberty, to parents; Donald and Virginia Slott Driggers, a former resident of Shepherd, and has resided in Coldspring for the past 35 years. She was a customer service clerk for Servisair and Delta Airlines, attended the First Baptist Church of Coldspring, member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, camping, and working in her yard. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Dennis, Larry, and Rory Driggers, and sister: Marie Driggers. She is survived by her husband of 32 years: Frank Dabney Phillips of Coldspring, daughter: Leslie Marie Sharp and husband Clifford of Splendora, son: Jacob Dabney Phillips of Coldspring, sisters: Brenda Whatley and husband George of Pasadena and Ida Driggers of Coldspring, brother: Donald “Skip” Driggers and wife Rene of Coldspring, grandchildren: Taylor Kay, Brody Vaughn, Abby Elizabeth, Shane Maddox, and Lee Anna Marie, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
