Chet Anthony Smoke, 21, of Hardin, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Houston. Chet was born December 22, 1990 in Baytown, Texas to parents, Stephen Todd Smoke and Peggy Taylor Allen.

Services for Chet will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow at Hardin Chapel Cemetery, Hardin, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.

Chet was a lifelong resident of Liberty County and was a student at Hardin High School. Chet loved music and his family. He was a special young man who was much loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Chet is survived by his parents: Todd and Suzanna Smoke of Hardin and Peggy Taylor Allen of Humble; his brothers and sisters: Dalton Smoke, Cameron Taylor, Kali Taylor, Kellyn Smoke, Logan McDaniel, Caleb McDaniel and Brianna McDaniel; grandparents: Ramey and Peggy Taylor of Batson and Billy C. Smoke of Hardin; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Chet was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Betty Peeples Smoke.
