Cheryl Johnson

Cheryl Renee Johnson, age 64 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was born May 14, 1953 in Houston, Texas to parents Eugene Puckitt and Betty Cote. She is preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Clayton.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Danny Johnson; parents, Eugene Puckitt and Betty Cote; daughters, Debbie Strelsky and husband Joey, Tammy Harrington and wife Tracy Ervin, Melanie Johnson, Kimberly Aguirre and husband Aaron; brothers, Robert Eugene Puckitt and wife Sharon, Steven Wayne Puckitt and wife Joy; sisters, Debra Lynn Smith and husband Mark, Donna Scism and husband Mike, Lisa Owens and Leslie Williams; grandchildren, Emily, Taylor, Kyle, Daniel, Becca, Kendall, Bailey, Lindsey and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Tobin, Kira, Carter and Annibelle; dog, Teddy B; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Johnson attended Smiley High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church Camilla. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, painting, sewing, crocheting and staining glass.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at First Baptist Church Camilla, 401 FM 3278, Coldspring, TX 77331. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church Camilla. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Camilla in Cheryl's name.
