Cherry Lynne Gonzalez, 71, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Liberty, Texas, on February 20, 2025. Born on April 27, 1953, in Liberty, Cherry was proud of her strong Indian heritage, which shaped the passionate and vibrant woman she was.

Cherry’s love for life was evident in everything she did. She had a deep love for cooking, often creating meals that brought family and friends together. Her passion for beauty extended to every aspect of her life — from her meticulously tended flower beds to her fondness for spending time in the sun, always perfectly tanned as the "sunbathing queen."

A woman who took great pride in her appearance, Cherry was never seen without her signature red lipstick and red fingernail polish. She lived life with flair and style, always dressed up and impeccably made-up. Cherry also had a love for cars, often treating herself to top-of-the-line vehicles that matched her bold spirit.

Cherry was the proud owner of C Babies Tanning and Toning Salon, where she touched the lives of many with her energy and warmth. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like watching black-and-white westerns, and loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved dogs. Fierce and determined, just like her father, Cherry was a woman who knew what she wanted and lived life to the fullest.

She was married to her soulmate, Abel, for over 25 years, sharing a deep and unbreakable bond with him. She was a loving mother to her sons, Dallas Ingram and wife Jackie, and Chance Ingram and wife Keli. Cherry was a proud grandmother to Cade, Hale, Gage and wife Kirsten, Dalton, and Caleb Ingram. She was also excited to welcome her first great-grandbaby into the world.

Cherry is preceded in death by her parents, Norris Pete Henry and Loretta Lynn Bennet, and her beloved husband, Abel Gonzalez.

Her legacy of love, strength, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
