Chase James Braud

Chase James Braud, 22, of Dayton, passed away at 2:52 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston surrounded by family and friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Dayton, with burial following at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton, TX. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Chase was born June 16, 1993 in Baytown, to parents; Bartt Braud and Elizabeth Carraway, and has resided in Dayton for nine years. He graduated Distinguished with Honors from Dayton High School, Class of 2012, and obtained a bachelors degree from Houston Baptist University. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dayton where he received his license to practice Ministry in 2012. He also held membership in Students for Life, was a Vice President of Youth for Christ, and founder of the Christian Science Club. Chase enjoyed family, reading, doing research, hunting, and his Bible. Mr. Braud is survived by his father: Bartt Braud and wife Sandy of Dayton, mother: Elizabeth Carraway Warren of The Woodlands, brothers: Chance Braud of Seabrook, Sean Warren of The Woodlands, Cpl. Brandon White and wife Katelyn of Dayton, Joshua White of Dayton, and Timothy White of Dayton, sisters: Chassity Braud of The Woodlands, Chelsea Pena and husband Rhett of Cedar Park, and Kate Warren of The Woodlands, grandparents: Wilfred and Cherry Braud of Seabrook and Cleon and Margaret Carraway of Beach City, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Chase loved to keep things simple and happy so please wear casual clothes and happy colors as we celebrate his life.
