Charlotte Lavada Hopper Angerstein, 78, was born on January 14, 1945 in Fitzsimons, Colorado and passed away on April 4, 2023 in Kingwood, Texas. Charlotte was born to parents Henry Hopper, Sr. and Sally Christine Harvey Hopper.
Charlotte had lived in Cleveland for the past 20 years, but was formerly of Austin, Texas. She retired as the Vice-President of Evins Personnel Consultants prior to moving to Cleveland. She loved gardening and groomed what was considered a prize-winning yard with many beds of beautiful red roses. Her happy time was spent working in her yard and making sure each rose garden was always in beautiful condition. Charlotte was an avid sports fan and when she was inside watching television, you could be certain it would be on some sports channel, enjoying one of her Astros games or watching the UT Longhorns play any sport. She also became a Texan fan throughout her years in the Houston area. One of her favorite competitors was Rafael Nadal, and she would record his tennis matches, just to make sure she didn’t miss an opportunity to watch him play. Charlotte was a huge Michael Jordan fan and she was so enthralled with him that she named all her dogs “Jordan” after the basketball star. Along with her love for sports, she also had a softer side which included her collection of porcelain dolls.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Angerstein; and a brother, Henry Hopper, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Dale Angerstein and fiancé Charity; daughter, Dawn Angerstein; and a host of other family and friends.
