Charlotte King

April 15, 1943 — February 11, 2018

Charlotte L. King, 74, of Dayton, Texas passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 15, 1943 in Shelby County, Texas to parents Paul and Dorothy Barron.

Graveside services for Mrs. King will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home before the service on Thursday.
Mrs. King was a longtime resident of Dayton. She enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work, gardening and tending her plants. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling. Most of all she loved her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy Barron and sister, Linda Barron Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Donald W. King; brother, Paul “Bubba” Barron; son, James D. Agnew, II; daughters, Stephanie King Adams and husband, Mark and Lori King Miller and husband, Jody; and her beloved dog, Sandy. Grandchildren are Elisha Agnew, Steven Agnew, Thomas Agnew, Kevin Agnew, Ryan Adams, Colin Adams, Alexis Adams, Breana Nicholas, and Paityn Nicholas.
