Charles Wade Foreman, 82, of Dayton, died Monday, January 11, 2016, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Charles was born August 21, 1933 in Rose Bud, Arkansas, to parents; Earl H. and Myrtle M. Plant Foreman, a former resident of Port Arthur, and has resided in Dayton for the past 44 years. He was a high school graduate, a clock smith, and member of the National Watch and Clock Association. He also enjoyed spending time with family and fishing.
Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his parents and brother: James Foreman. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Helen M. Brown Foreman of Dayton; son: Dennis Foreman and wife Irene of Richardson; daughter: Becky Jackson and husband Lynn of Corinth; sister: Blanche Ball and husband Derwin of Arkansas; grandchildren: Stephanie Brady and husband Kevin, Daniel Jackson, Timothy Foreman, Stephen Jackson, Joshua Mondares, Aaron Foreman, and Matthew Foreman; great-grandchildren: Sarah Jackson and Michelle Foreman; also numerous other relatives and friends.
