Charles Ryan Soliday, 19, of Liberty, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2024. Born on April 20, 2005, in Portsmouth, Virginia, he was the beloved son of Charles W. Soliday and Jaci Summerer Soliday.

A dedicated Private First Class in the U.S. Army, Charles was stationed at Fort Meade and had proudly earned his Associate’s Degree as an Honor Graduate. His role as a Russian linguist highlighted his intelligence and commitment to service.

Charles grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he attended Deep Creek School District. He had a passion for hiking and enjoyed immersing himself in the world of video games. Known for his kindness and sweet disposition, he touched the lives of many who admired him deeply.

Charles is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Thomas Soliday. He is survived by his loving parents, Charles W. and Jaci Soliday; his maternal grandfather, William Summerer; his grandmothers, Melinda Soliday and Patricia Speiser; and his cherished sister, Gabrielle Soliday.

A visitation to honor Charles will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.

Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
