Charles “Chas” Thomas Soliday, 49, of Dayton died Wednesday, October 26, 2011. He was born June 12, 1962 in Connellsville, PA to parents Charles H. Soliday and Janice Kimsey Soliday. He graduated from Connellsville Area High School in 1980 and later moved to Channelview. Chas had lived in the Dayton area since 1988 and was an employee of Anheuser-Busch in Houston where he work as a production supervisor. He enjoyed reading, video games, motorcycles and entertaining as he was always the life of the party. He was a member of the Harley Owner’s Group.
Services for Chas will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Soliday was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Soliday. He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Melinda L. Soliday of Dayton; sons: Charles W. Soliday and wife Jaci of Florida and Jesse T. Soliday and wife Wendy Powlison of Dayton; grandchildren: Charles R. Soliday and Gabrielle P. Soliday of Florida; father: Charles H. Soliday of Pennsylvania; sister: Lisa Soliday of Pennsylvania; brothers: Scott Soliday and wife Sandy of Pennsylvania and Timothy Soliday and wife Liz of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law: Donnie Matthews and wife Teri of Minnesota; sister-in-law: Missy Matthews of Minnesota; also numerous other relatives and friends.
