Celia Bell Ellisor, age 88 of San Jacinto County, Texas passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. She was born August 22, 1931 in Evergreen, Texas to parents John Thomas Martin and Elizabeth Victoria (Lizzie) Vann Martin who preceded her in death along with her husband, Robbie Silas Ellisor; brothers, Homer Bruce Martin, Kelly Edd Martin, Alvin Brynt Martin, and Lee Roy Martin; sister, Ethel Mae Walker; infant twin daughters; and grandson, Justin Robert Ellisor.
Celia was raised in San Jacinto County where she attended school in Coldspring where she graduated high school in 1950. She and Robbie were married for 50 years before his passing in 1999. She worked in the community at Lakeside Building Supply. Celia had many hobbies that included canning, sewing, crocheting quilting, and a love for sewing. She was an accomplished woodworker, and she made many beautiful creations for her family. She loved going to church. She was also an amazing shot with a .22! (Wouldn’t shoot anything larger because of the recoil).
Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Ann LeMere, and her husband, Gary; son, Sidney Wade Ellisor; sisters, Winnie Pearl Risner, and Ellie Maydell French, and her husband, Dale; granddaughter, Monica Carlene Harrell, and husband Toby; great-grandson, Conor Ray Harrell; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2020 at Pace Stancil Chapel with interment to follow at Pine Valley Cemetery.
