Cecil Horace Faircloth, age 82, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 03, 2013. He was born in Blanchard, Texas on August 11, 1930 to parents Lee and Mae Faircloth who preceded him in death along with his brothers Edward, Jerald, Freeland, and Fennis Faircloth. Mr Faircloth served his country and community and surrounding counties in the following ways, Battery Clerk in the U.S. Army, Account, Marketing Director, Owner, and Operator for Cleveland Commission Co., Inventory Manager of Hub Supply, President of Cleveland Stockyard Corp. and Fairway Farms Inc., owner Raywood Livestock and Auction Barn, Executive Vice President of the Greater Cleveland Chambers of Commerce, Executive Vice President of the Coldspring Chamber of Commerce, Lion of the Year two years in a row, President of the Cleveland Lions Club, President and owner of Fairway Tractor, Honorary Member of Channelview and Tarkington Future Farmers of America, Honorary Award for contribution to the Gene and Margie Campbell Highway, Lead Man with Coldspring Chamber of Commerce in obtaining the Hwy and Bridge below Lake Livingston Dam to connect Livingston and Coldspring, FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer and FFA Dad of the year. Survivors include his wife Lelia Faircloth; children Gary Faircloth and Theresa Guynes, Dale and Alinda Faircloth, Guy and Shelia Burton, Randy and Mylinda Faircloth, Patrick and Cecilia Davidson, Sarah Faircloth, Debbie Dean Tidwell; grandchildren Jason Faircloth, Justin and Michelle Faircloth, Kyle and Christine Faircloth, Chet and Sarah Faircloth, Shane and Tana Knight, Deana Faircloth, Kade Burton and Miranda Kerley, Fox Faircloth, Angelique Davidson, Walker Hart; great-grandchildren Kendra Faircloth, Kaleb Faircloth, Lakamree Burton, Fayth Burton, Micah Faircloth, Kyla Anna Faircloth, Shyann Knight, Blake Knight, Aubrie Knight, Gracie Knight and Desirae Barlow and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 05, 2013, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas, funeral services being held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., February 6, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment immediately following at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
