Cathy Renee Chamberes

Cathy Renee Schultz Chambers, 64, of Huffman passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019. She was born August 20, 1955 in Houston to parents Fred Schultz and Ramona Skinner Schultz.

A graveside service for Mrs. Chambers will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Huffman Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

Cathy had been a resident of Huffman for the past 8 years. She previously had lived in Dayton for 26 years. Cathy enjoyed spending time outdoors, bicycling, swimming and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed bowling and dancing. Most of all Cathy was always positive and upbeat. She adored spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She had been saved and baptized. Cathy attended Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Grace Chambers. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dennis Chambers; sons, Rafe Chambers and wife Daisi and Trace Chambers and wife Kate; grandchildren, Precious Chambers, Dyllon Chambers, Josie Chambers, and Miller Chambers; brother, Ricky Schultz and wife Penny; sister, Vickie Picard; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and her dog, Peanut and parrot, Rosie.
