Catherine Rector

Catherine Dunleavy Rector was born June 6, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York to parents Catherine Stiman and Edward Dunleavy. She left this Earth for her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the age of 78.

Catherine was a loving mother, Nana, and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Rector; son, Thomas Marino; and grandson, Jacob Thomas Marino. She is survived by her daughters, Denise Mauceli and AnnMarie Evans; grandchildren, Amber Nichole Mauceli, Joe Alvin Evans III, and Joseph Marino; great-grandchildren, Ariana Nichole Nobles, Devon Marino, and Christopher Marino; loving cousins, Phyllis Taylor, Valerie Williams, Joyce Taylor and Alice Taylor, Chris Knox and family and many more; close friends, Bobbye Stone, Loyce Woods, Donald and Maria Enloe, Noble and Paula Enloe, Becky Foxworth, Amy Thomas, Gary Hall, Margaret Moore, Ronald and Darlene Culberth and family, Gerald and Penny Rich, Joan Adams, William and Angie Summitt, Ro and Paula Monroe, Kirby and Sarah Abshire and the girls, and Micha Benson; fur baby, BooBoo.

A visitation will be held from 11am – 12pm on Friday, April 28, 2023, in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland with her funeral service immediately following at 12pm with Bro. Noble Enloe officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery in Woodville, Texas at 3pm. Pallbearers for the service will be Amy Thomas, Tyler Nobles, Joe Evans Jr., Kenneth Gibbs, Gene Gibbs, Donald Enloe, Gary Hall and Chris Knox.
