Carolyn Ruth Cooper

Carolyn Ruth Cooper, age 84 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019. She was born January 9, 1935 in Houston, Texas to parents Myrtle Mae Smith and Ben Tanner Willard who preceded her in death along with her beloved husband of 62 years, Gerald Harper Cooper; sister, Doris Elaine Cooper; and grandson, Jerritt Lee Goolsby.

Carolyn was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a beautician and owner of Jetero Beauty salon.

She is survived by her sons, Gerald Wayne Cooper and wife Brenda, and Matthew Jason Cooper and wife Jamie; daughters, Cynthia Darlene Walker and husband Gary, and Belinda Ruth Goolsby and husband Larry; grandchildren, Mitchell Cooper and wife Cynthia, Randa Carter and husband Cory, Joshua Walker and wife Stephanie, Joseph Walker and wife Megan, Amanda Lovell and husband Brandon, Jason Walker, Jessica Schulze and husband Steven, Laressia Martin and husband Tim, Jacob Goolsby, Dillen Cooper, Cameron Cooper, and Ryan Cooper; great-grandchildren, Derek Cooper, Lorena Ward, Drake Carter, Jilian Walker, Ryan Duke, Seth Duke, Lanie Walker, Luke Walker, Hayden Lovell, Joel Lovell, Charlotte Lovell, Isaiah Lovell, April Minchew and husband Jeffrey, Taylor Beverly and husband Michael, Leeanna Schulze, Jace Chevalier, Ty Martin, and Kaylee Goolsby; great-great-grandchildren, Raylinn Beverly and Leighton Minchew; pet companion, Sassy, her dog; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2020 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas, officiated by Pastor Brad Dancer. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
