Carolyn Luckey

Carolyn Janet Anglin Luckey, born on May 6, 1945 in Cleveland, Texas, peacefully departed to her heavenly home on December 26, 2023 at the age of 78.

Carolyn's greatest joy in life was her family. She was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, and a loving "meme" who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her presence lit up any room she entered, and her infectious spirit brought joy to everyone around her.

Throughout her life, Carolyn was known for her strong work ethic. She dedicated many years of service as a bookkeeper at HEB before retiring. When she wasn't working hard to support her family, she could be found at the VFW enjoying steak nights and dancing the night away. Carolyn's love for games and vibrant personality made her the life of every gathering.

In addition to being a woman of many talents, Carolyn had a passion for sewing and crocheting. She poured her heart into creating beautiful knitted pieces and generously shared them with her loved ones. Her handiwork will be treasured for generations to come.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile, unconditional love, and zest for life will forever remain in our hearts.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, T.L. Luckey; parents J.D. and Isabelle Anglin; and grandson Cole Luckey. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Luckey Jr. and wife Betty Jo, Steven Ray Luckey; sister, Brenda Provost; brother, John Anglin and wife Paula; grandchildren, Bradley Luckey, Corey Luckey, Cameron Luckey, Natalie Asfour, Travis Enloe, Brad Hudson; great-grandchildren, Tanner Enloe, Stetson Luckey, Jasper Luckey, Beaux Luckey, Elliot Hudson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
