Carolyn “Lawane” Sigle, 74 of Kenefick passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was born January 28, 1943 in Orange, Texas to parents, Joseph Marshall McKinney and Mattie Sartor McKinney.

Service for Lawane will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howie Howeth officiating. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sigle grew up in Pasadena and had been a resident of Kenefick for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Sunset Methodist Church in Pasadena. Lawane enjoyed gardening and loved being with her family especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Sigle was preceded in death by her father, Marshall McKinney; husband, Harold Duane Sigle and brother, Joseph Wayne McKinney. She is survived by her mother, Mattie McKinney; son, Brian Sigle and wife Kolynda; daughter, Kimberly Sigle; brothers, James Michael McKinney and wife Cindy, David Marshall McKinney and wife Carolyn; sister, Lanelda Vansau; grandchildren, Brandon Sigle and wife Ivie, Joseph Sigle and wife Jonna, Daniel Ripkowski and wife Rainy, Luke Van Kampen, Kaleb Van Kampen and wife Katelyn and Maddisan Sigle; great-grandchildren, Blake Sigle, Carter Ripkowski and Reese Ripkowski; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
