Carol Elizabeth Shaw

Carol Elizabeth Steele Shaw, 70, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Kingwood, Texas. Carol was born July 25, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Rodrick Steele and Iris McGill Steele.

Services for Mrs. Shaw will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before the service on Saturday morning. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Carol had been a 20 year resident of Vidor and was previously of Nederland. She was a member of the Shilo Missionary Baptist Church in Vidor. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Walter Shaw, Sr. of Vidor; sons, Wally Shaw and wife Stephanie of Kenefick and Alfred Shaw and wife Arleena of Louisiana; brothers, Roddy Steele of Oklahoma, Neal Steele of Sam Rayburn and Ed Steele of Nederland; mother-in-law, Geneva Shaw of Port Arthur; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
