Carlton Lee Mifflin

Carlton Lee Mifflin, 74, of Dayton passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 in Houston after an extended illness.

Graveside service for Mr. Mifflin will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2016 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton with Rev. Mike Blackburn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Carlton was born October 7, 1942 in High Island, Texas to parents Cecil G. Mifflin and Myrtle Razor Mifflin. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton and attended Dayton High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Carlton loved cooking and being with his family. He proudly served in the United States Navy.

Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Harold Mifflin, and his sisters, Lillie Flowers and Naomi Ripkowski. He is survived by brothers, James Mifflin and wife Jeanette of Dayton; sisters, Georgia Daniel of Livingston, and Frances Turner and husband George of Conroe; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
