Camille Joseph Istre

Camille Joseph Istre, age 76 and a resident of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 01, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center in Livingston. He was born in Crowley, Louisiana on April 21, 1937 to parents Gabirel Istre and Eunice Breaux who preceded him in death along with six brothers. Mr. Istre was a distinguished Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War era. He was a self-employed Barber in his community and area. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and steadfast friend; he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Istre; mother Eunice B.; sons Dylan Istre, Troy G. Helms and Troy L. Helms; brother James “Jimmy” Istre; sisters-in-law Deanna Istre and Dee Istre; great-grandson Troy Skylar Helms; numerous other treasured family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Rev. Art Gillinger will preside over memorial services being held Saturday, May 11, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Camilla, Texas.
