Buster Spurgeon, Jr.

Buster Spurgeon, Jr., 57, of Dayton, Texas passed away Thursday November 17, 2016 with his beloved wife by his side.

Buster was born in Seminole, Texas to parents, Buster Spurgeon and Lois Carter Spurgeon. He was a long time resident of Dayton and Liberty. Buster had worked as a crane coordinator/supervisor for Mammoet, USA. Buster enjoyed woodworking, grilling and, working in his yard. He especially enjoyed his roses and rose trees. He loved his family and spoiling his grandchildren when they were young.

Mr. Spurgeon was preceded in death by his father, Buster Spurgeon; brothers, Thomas Spurgeon and Bruce Spurgeon and, his sister, Brenda Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ladonna Brantley Spurgeon of Dayton; mother, Lois Spurgeon of Dayton; daughters, Leslie Renea Hutchins and husband, Rex, Jr. of Dayton and Adrian Dawn Meche and husband Joey of Dayton; sisters, Sharlot Seamon and husband Terry of North Carolina and Rhonda Spurgeon of Liberty; grandchildren, Tyler, Todd and Tiffanie of Dayton; as well as his fur baby, Silver Bullet; numerous other relatives and friends

Service for Mr. Spurgeon will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be, Tyler Rolirad, Todd Rolirad, Scott Meche, Cole Meche, Joey Meche, Doug Allen, Bubba Seymour, Anthony Dues, Brett Taylor and, Pete Balbas.
