Bryan Charles Pfluger, age 36 of Conroe, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019. He was born May 4, 1983 in Houston, Texas to parents David C. Pfluger and Penny D. Griffin. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Douglas Pfluger and Jack Griffin.
Bryan served in the Army National Guard for 6 years before beginning his career in Law Enforcement with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. He then went on to the Rising Star Police Department. He spent the last 4 years of his career at the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Department.
He is survived by his son, Caedyn Garrison Pfluger and Caedyn’s mother Nettie Payne; father, David C. Pfluger and wife Judy L. Pfluger; mother, Penny D. Griffin; grandmothers, Pauline Griffin and Patricia Pfluger; sister, Amanda Pfluger Arnold; step-sisters, Carmen Reed and Amanda Windham; brother, Brandon Kyle Pfluger; step-brother, James Bradley Kraft; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2019 at San Jacinto Community Shelter located on HWY 150 in downtown Coldspring. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 306 Tenth St. Pflugerville, Texas with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
