Brenda Sue Crossno-Valentine, age 59, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at her residence.
Brenda was born October 31, 1952 in Houston, Texas. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. The light in their eyes brought such happiness. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and will remain in the hearts of all those who loved and cherished her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Elmo and Ila Mae Crossno and her brother, Arthur “Sonny” Crossno. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Carl Ray Valentine, Joey Arthur Valentine, and Brandon Wayne Valentine; brother, Eldon Crossno; grandchildren, Joseph Valentine, Justin, Valentine, Trenton Valentine, Clayton Valentine, Brandon Wayne Valentine Jr., Gavin Valentine, Tera Valentine, J.D. Valentine, Tessa Valentine, and Teressa Valentine; nephews, Dustin Crossno, Charles Mikeska, James Mikeska, Ben Valentine, Darrell Woods; nieces, April Carswell, Jennifer Brice, Katherine Linhart, Cheryl Williams, Devon Bralton, Shiela Valentine, Skeeter Valentine; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends.
The family will welcome family and friends for visitation Friday, November 18, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Ernie Parker will preside over funeral services being held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers include William Brooks, Eugene Trammel, Lonnie Robinson, Johnny Smith, Brent Sumrall, Max Battles, and Royce Click.
