Brenda Kay Swearingen

Brenda Kay Swearingen, 57, of Port Neches, died Friday, October 7, 2011, at the Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton with burial following at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Brenda was born December 18, 1953 in Beaumont to parents; W. W. Swearingen and Louise M. Mueller, a former resident of Liberty, and resident of Port Neches. She attended Alvin High School, was a retired broker for Smith-Barney, and was Methodist by faith. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking, and especially spending time with her family. Miss Swearingen was preceded in death by her husband: Donnie Anderson, father: W. W. Swearingen, mother: Louise M. Mueller Allen, father: Alonzo “Lonnie” Allen, Jr., and brothers: Byron and Larry Swearingen, and Bryan Allen. She is survived by her brothers: Larry G. Allen and wife Wanda of LaBelle, Harold W. Allen and wife Debbie of LaBelle, James Fredrick Allen and wife Stephanie of Port Neches, and Michael Swearingen of Liberty, mother: Neeta Swearingen of Liberty, nieces: Ashley N. Allen Castrogiovanni and husband Adam of Germany, Brittany L. Allen of LaBelle, Misty Sommer and husband Greg of Conroe, Telicia Swearingen of Atmore, AL, great nieces and nephews: Hailey, Gracie, Destiny, Devon, Gregory, Wyatt, and Presley, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
