Obituary for Bonnie Jelene Smith Noack

Bonnie Jelene Smith Noack, 71, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Dayton, Texas. She was born on August 15, 1953, in Cleveland, Texas, to Frank Smith and Bonnie Davis. Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose generous spirit, sense of humor, and deep devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

Bonnie was a proud graduate of Cleveland High School, and in her younger years, she enjoyed playing baseball. She cherished the time spent with her family, particularly her brother, when they would go fishing, and later enjoyed hunting with her grandchildren. Bonnie was an avid movie lover, with a special fondness for going to the theater, watching Scooby Doo, and Sci-Fi movies. She also had a love for self-care, including getting her nails done, and always made a stop at Simmons store for a soda whenever she was headed into and out of town.

Family was everything to Bonnie. She loved spending time with them and was known for her generosity—she would always insist on picking up the tab when they went out to eat. Bonnie’s caring nature extended beyond her immediate family; she dedicated much of her life to caring for the elderly and always put others' needs before her own.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Smith and Bonnie Davis; her husband, Edwin Earl Noack; and her grandson, James Edwin Pruett. She is survived by her sons, David Coulter, Robert Noack, Mitchell Coulter, Eddie Noack and wife Karen, Michael Noack; her daughter, Jana Noack Jett; her brother, Tommy Smith and wife Terri Jo; her sister, Polly Smith Faucett and husband Roy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ryan Cemetery in Tarkington. Reverend Kristal Alldredge will officiate the ceremony. Pallbearers will be Deston Noack, Kamden Pruett, David Coulter, Nathan Fagan, James Jett, and Luke Pruett. Honorary pallbearers will be Kiera Downing, Alissa Presnull, Kassidy Mosley, and Chance Coulter.

Bonnie’s loving nature and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
